We are a leading facilities management provider seeking an experienced and proactive Mobile Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for overseeing a small team of mobile engineers and ensuring the delivery of top-tier electrical maintenance services to our portfolio of commercial office spaces along the M3 corridor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled electrician with leadership experience to take the next step in their career. You will act as the technical point of contact for our clients and engineers, ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance is completed to the highest standard of safety and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervising and supporting a team of mobile maintenance electricians, managing workloads and scheduling both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
  • Providing technical guidance and hands-on support to the engineering team
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in strict compliance with current health and safety regulations and BS 7671
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients on-site, building strong professional relationships and managing expectations
  • Conducting quality assurance checks, auditing workmanship, and delivering toolbox talks
  • Diagnosing and rectifying a wide range of electrical faults in commercial installations, including power, lighting, emergency lighting, and basic HVAC controls
  • Completing all necessary job reports, certification, and administrative tasks accurately and on time

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or equivalent
  • City & Guilds 2382 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • Proven experience working as an electrician in a commercial maintenance environment
  • Demonstrable experience in a supervisory or team leader role
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • A strong understanding of PPM schedules and CAFM systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional and client-focused attitude
  • A full UK Driving Licence

Nice to have:

  • City & Guilds 2391 in Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
  • An IOSH or similar health and safety qualification
