Job Description:

EastCoast Builders is seeking a skilled Millwork Journeyman to play a key role in our field operations, ensuring that projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and with superior craftsmanship. Job Responsibility:

  • Execute complex millwork installations, including cabinetry, moldings, paneling, and custom joinery installations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations
  • Lead small teams or oversee portions of larger projects to maintain workflow and meet deadlines
  • Regularly inspect tools, equipment, and work areas, reporting any safety hazards or maintenance needs
  • Perform self-inspections on completed work to ensure precise alignments, smooth finishes, and structural integrity
  • Lift, carry, and position materials up to 50 pounds

Requirements:

  • Expertise in custom joinery
  • Expertise in advanced assembly
  • Expertise in blueprint interpretations
  • Prior experience working on high-end commercial millwork projects preferred
  • Experience leading small project teams or mentoring junior installers is a plus
