Job Description:

The Mexico LTL Administrative Support plays an integral part in our fast-growing Administration team. The Administrator’s main purpose is to manage activities related to rating, billing, and carrier management. They are responsible for providing administrative support to enhance the execution of our Pricing & Admin team’s goals and daily activities. They must be well organized, detail-oriented, excellent communicators, and have a keen sense of timeliness in carrying out daily activities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Updating orders that are classified as “Zero Rated”
  • Ensuring rating instructions are up to date for all clients
  • On occasion, may be required to submit rates to a client for approval
  • Managing billing reports and the customer billing tool
  • Monitoring the expiration of tariffs for each customer and the LTL rate updates folder
  • Updating customer Tariffs and customer billing tools
  • Collaborating with the Pricing and Admin team in any discrepancy from customer rates
  • Administering customer accessorial in the Billing Tool and ensuring all charges are accurate
  • With direction from the LTL Administration Supervisor, various specific projects may require participation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is required
  • 1 year experience in administration and/or Logistics
  • Prior transportation industry experience is considered to be an asset
  • Sound analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Advanced English skills - written and verbal
