Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and document metalworking technologies (cutting, bending, welding, milling, turning, etc.)
  • Optimize production processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
  • Prepare and update technical documentation, process instructions, and flow charts
  • Select appropriate tools, equipment, and materials for production processes
  • Monitor and support implementation of new technologies and improvements in production
  • Collaborate with engineers and machine operators to solve technical issues on the shop floor
  • Participate in product prototyping and pre-production trials
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and production protocols
  • Train and support production staff on technological processes
  • Assist in the evaluation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in a similar role in metal fabrication or machining industry (2+ years preferred)
  • Strong understanding of metalworking processes and equipment
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings (CAD knowledge is a plus)
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing
