Contract opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to make an immediate impact in a dynamic medical office setting. The role involves front desk operations, patient communication, appointment scheduling, and administrative support in a healthcare environment.
Job Responsibility:
Greet patients and visitors with professionalism, creating a welcoming environment at the front desk
Handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and manage cancellations efficiently
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Verify and process insurance information and assist patients with billing or payment inquiries
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and exceptional customer service
Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, faxing, and mail distribution
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role in healthcare administration
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with EMR systems (Cerner, Epic, or similar preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus
Nice to have:
