We are looking for a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience while supporting the administrative needs of the practice. The ideal candidate will be skilled in using various medical software systems and possess excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Job Responsibility:
Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized calendar for the medical team
Handle incoming calls, answer inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate department
Input and update patient information accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Verify insurance details and process billing-related tasks as needed
Assist with patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all required documentation is completed
Utilize software such as Allscripts, Cerner, Dentrix, and Eaglesoft to manage records and workflows
Prepare charts, graphs, and reports to support clinical and administrative functions
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to uphold a detail-oriented image
Support the team with additional administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a medical receptionist or similar administrative role
Proficiency in medical software systems, including Allscripts, Cerner, Dentrix, and Eaglesoft
Strong knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing patient records
Familiarity with insurance verification and billing procedures
Strong organizational skills to manage scheduling and administrative tasks effectively.
