Job Description:

A leading law firm specializing in medical negligence claims is seeking a dedicated Medical Negligence Solicitor to join their team. With offices in Liverpool, Leigh, Runcorn, and Warrington, the firm is committed to helping clients who have suffered due to medical errors obtain justice and the best possible compensation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in medical negligence cases
  • Handle claims involving various medical fields including hospital treatment, GP care, dentistry, optometry, and pharmacy errors
  • Conduct thorough investigations to gather evidence, including medical records and witness statements
  • Draft legal documents, prepare case files, and manage all aspects of litigation
  • Negotiate settlements and, if necessary, represent clients in court
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and offer support throughout the legal process
  • Work closely with medical experts to establish causation and the extent of damages
  • Ensure all claims are filed within the legal time limits and comply with procedural rules

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate
  • Proven experience in medical negligence law
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently
  • Compassionate and client-focused approach
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
