Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Front Desk Specialist to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. Job Responsibility:

Welcome patients and visitors with a friendly demeanor while managing the check-in and check-out process
Handle incoming calls professionally, addressing inquiries and directing them to appropriate departments
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic health records (EHR) system
Schedule appointments efficiently and coordinate follow-up visits as needed
Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies
Ensure compliance with medical office procedures and policies to uphold operational standards
Collaborate with healthcare staff to support seamless patient care
Verify insurance information and process billing-related tasks
Provide information to patients regarding office policies and services
Address and resolve patient issues or concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is required
At least 2 years of experience in a medical office or administrative role
Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff
Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Reliable transportation, a valid Ohio driver’s license, and a clean driving record
A compassionate and detail-oriented approach to patient care
Willingness to learn new administrative systems and procedures
