Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Medical Biller/Collections Specialist to join a growing team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in medical billing within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Job Responsibility:

Process and accurately code Workers’ Compensation claims from out-of-state providers
Utilize UB forms and ensure adherence to medical billing terminology and standards
Review and resolve medical billing denials, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up
Manage claims for both medical and diagnostic services with attention to detail
Collaborate with a dynamic department to support operational efficiency and growth
Leverage your expertise with Epic and Medipac systems to streamline billing processes
Conduct audits and ensure compliance with billing regulations and procedures
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify billing discrepancies and resolve issues

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in medical billing
Strong knowledge of claims processing and denial management
Hands-on experience with Epic and Medipac billing systems
Familiarity with UB forms and Workers’ Compensation claims
Proven ability to manage both medical and diagnostic billing processes
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders
