We are looking for an experienced Media Director to lead strategic media planning and execution within the pharmaceutical industry. Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies across multiple pharmaceutical brands and therapeutic areas
Translate brand objectives into impactful media plans designed to drive engagement and measurable results
Collaborate with brand teams to ensure media strategies align with overarching marketing and commercial goals
Lead annual brand planning initiatives, including launch readiness and lifecycle management, integrating media strategies into broader brand objectives
Manage relationships with external media agencies, overseeing strategic alignment, execution quality, and budget adherence
Conduct agency briefings, performance evaluations, and negotiate contracts to enhance collaboration and efficiency
Monitor campaign performance metrics, optimizing strategies based on key indicators such as reach, engagement, and prescription lift
Partner with analytics teams to generate actionable insights and improve targeting strategies
Stay informed on emerging media trends, technological advancements, and compliance requirements within the pharmaceutical sector
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including medical, legal, and analytics teams, to present media strategies and campaign updates
Requirements:
Proven experience in media planning and execution within the pharmaceutical industry
Strong knowledge of omnichannel media strategies, including digital and traditional platforms
Expertise in managing agency relationships, including briefing, performance evaluation, and contract negotiation
Demonstrated ability to optimize campaigns based on performance metrics and generate strategic insights
Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations relevant to pharmaceutical media
Exceptional communication skills for presenting strategies and updates to cross-functional teams
Proficiency in media relations, digital media planning, and corporate communications
Ability to stay ahead of media trends and innovations to maintain competitive advantage
