As the Universal Damper Toolkit Developer, you will take ownership of building a scalable, reusable framework for damper components across our global turbine platform. Your role is pivotal in creating standardization and design efficiency, enabling faster deployment and consistent quality. Working hand-in-hand with simulation experts, mechanical engineers, and validation specialists, you ensure that innovation is embedded into repeatable, production-ready tools – forming the technical backbone of our future damping solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive damper toolkit to standardize future tower projects
Enable reusability across different turbine platforms through a common parts approach
Support product development by streamlining damper parameter integration
Work closely with other team members to ensure cross-project alignment and efficient tooling
Requirements:
Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications
Background in mechanical system standardization, modular design, or platform development
5+ years of experience in similar development or toolkit-related roles
Good understanding of damper systems, machine design, and configuration management
Experience with digital engineering tools and process integration
English fluency
Proactive, collaborative work style and structured thinking
Willingness to travel occasionally
Nice to have:
German and Spanish skills are beneficial
