Job Description:

In the Device Hardware area, we are looking for a mechanical engineer to expand our team, who works with product development using cutting-edge facilities within prototyping, design facilities, reliability testing, tool manufacturing and production technologies with the goal of developing hearing instruments with a focus on hardware.

Job Responsibility:

  • Micro-mechanical development
  • Concepts and design in CAD
  • Make prototypes in tool shop
  • Simulate on models
  • Evaluate solutions
  • Follow product to realization and production
  • Guide mechanical developers and support planning of daily activities
  • Plan and implement design work, specifications, design reviews and documentation
  • Define and adjust internal processes with mechanical development
  • Contribute to the competence for the ME domain
  • Ensure knowledge sharing among developers
  • Travel 6-10 days a year to visit suppliers and production site in Poland

Requirements:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or similar
  • Some years’ experience in an R&D setup
  • Experience working in PTC Creo 3D CAD or similar
  • Knowledge of robust design techniques (Tolerance stack-up, Design for Manufacturing DFM, Design for Assembly DFA)
  • Knowledge of how to design parts made with injection moulding
  • Interest in learning to work in the agile framework
