Job Description:

As a key member of our multidisciplinary engineering team, you'll support the design and delivery of mechanical projects within the oil and gas sector. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex brownfield projects while developing your technical skills in a collaborative environment. You'll be responsible for preparing accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings and models, working closely with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure deliverables meet project specifications and quality standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare 3D models, detailed engineering and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD/Plant3D
  • Develop Bills of Materials (BOM) and support project documentation
  • Provide technical oversight and checking of drafting deliverables
  • Liaise with fabrication teams to ensure designs meet specifications
  • Support projects from feasibility through to detailed CAD design
  • Maintain accurate drawing records and support CAD standards improvement

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience with AutoCAD/Plant3D or related 3D engineering design software (lower experience levels will be considered)
  • Experience in SMP & Tank engineering design within heavy brownfield industries, preferably oil and gas
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
