Experienced mechanic or engineer (automotive, heavy vehicle or rail preferred)
Level 3 qualification in Vehicle or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)

Job Responsibility

Perform routine maintenance, inspections and preventative repairs on a diverse fleet
Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults
Complete scheduled servicing and respond to unscheduled repair work
Overhaul and replace components such as engines, gearboxes and braking systems
Accurately complete all job sheets, defect reports and maintenance records
Follow all company health and safety procedures
Work as part of a shift team and maintain a clean, organised workshop
