Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Maximo Developer/Technical Analyst to build, customize, and integrate Maximo solutions. This role requires a professional who can independently handle development tasks, implement integrations, and work closely with functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, customize, and configure Maximo applications using Application Designer and Workflow Designer
  • Write and maintain Automation Scripts (Jython/JavaScript) to implement business rules and process automation
  • Perform Java class and bean customizations to extend Maximo functionality
  • Configure database objects, including attributes, relationships, and indexes, and write SQL queries
  • Implement integration components using the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and develop REST API interfaces
  • Build and consume REST/SOAP web services for seamless data exchange with external applications
  • Develop and troubleshoot integrations using middleware tools like IBM App Connect or MuleSoft
  • Create technical documentation, including design specs, test cases, and deployment guides
  • Utilize development tools (Eclipse/VS Code, Postman) for coding, testing, and debugging
  • Manage code versions using Git/Bitbucket and participate in CI/CD pipeline activities
  • Collaborate with business analysts and consultants to understand requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Conduct unit testing, support system integration testing (SIT), and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT)

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo platform development and customization
  • Strong working knowledge of Maximo 7.6.x / MAS 8/9
  • Practical experience with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and REST API development
  • Proficiency in Automation Scripting (Jython, JavaScript) and Java for customizations
  • Experience with Workflow Designer, Application Designer, and database configuration
  • Skills in developing and consuming REST/SOAP web services (JSON/XML)
  • Competency in SQL/PL-SQL for Oracle or SQL Server
  • Familiarity with middleware and integration tools
  • Experience with standard development and DevOps tools (Eclipse/VS Code, Postman, Git, Jenkins)

  • Support project teams in developing scopes of work and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for external consulting resources
  • Serve as the geospatial lead on project teams, advocating for spatial needs and coordinating deliverables with project managers, other technical leads, and external vendors
  • Ensure spatial data quality and consistency, including enterprise geodatabase data design elements such as schema alignment, domain management, and metadata maintenance
  • Build and support automated data workflows using tools such as FME, ArcPy, ModelBuilder, and other tools for ETL processing
  • Contribute to the documentation of workflows, publishing protocols, and enterprise GIS governance practices
  • Provide technical support to junior GIS staff or non-GIS users
  • Provide materials – such as visualizations, analytics, and presentations – to support executive decision-making
  • Conduct field work to investigate and validate asset locations and conditions across the location
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry geospatial products, services, and best practices
