Material Handler

• Loads material into and out of the warehouse
• Distributes material to the various departments and workstations using forklifts, pallet jack handtrucks, and carts
• Transport/deliver materials
• Pack parts, supply machines, and discard scrap
• Order materials, wrap pallets, and make boxes
• Load/unload materials into and out of shipping containers
• Perform inventory management using batch trace
• Create/maintain/verify documentation
• Operate forklift
• Performs all other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must have basic computer skills
• Ability to read and understand job instructions
• Ability to write legibly and use a numbering system
• Ability to work with minimal direction
• Ability to communicate clearly/respectfully with all levels of personnel in area/plant
• Must be able to operate forklift and pallet jack
• Position requires occasional overtime on weekends and off shift to cover absentees and vacations on other shifts
• Industrial warehouse experience preferred
• Requires walking, lifting a minimum of 35 lbs., bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, standing, climbing, and carrying parts
• Safe operation of a forklift/motorized vehicle
• Must pass forklift physical
• Use of hands and fingers to manipulate office equipment is required
