We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mash Deputy Team Manager to lead and shape our Front Door/MASH Service. About the Role – Mash Deputy Team Manager. As a Mash Deputy Team Manager, you will provide vital leadership within our MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub), ensuring effective assessment, intervention, and safeguarding for vulnerable children.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and supervise a team of social workers and practitioners within the MASH environment
  • Make safe, robust, and timely decisions regarding child safeguarding matters
  • Prioritize workloads and manage multiple cases efficiently
  • Promote innovative, evidence-based approaches to safeguarding within an anti-discriminatory framework
  • Ensure all interventions meet legislative requirements and best practice standards
  • Support the team through induction, mentoring, and ongoing professional development
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and respect in all activities
  • Collaborate effectively with multi-agency professionals to safeguard children

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a child protection social worker
