The Marketing Operations Manager is the strategic architect and guardian of our marketing technology ecosystem, data integrity, and operational efficiency. While a dedicated CRM team manages HubSpot for sales, this role will own and optimise the marketing technology stack, ensure seamless data flow for marketing purposes, and drive process automation to empower all marketing teams to achieve their goals. You will bridge the gap between marketing strategy and technical execution, ensuring scalability, robust reporting infrastructure, and actively integrating AI capabilities to enhance marketing effectiveness.
Job Responsibility:
Marketing Technology Stack Management: Own the evaluation, integration, and optimisation of all marketing technology tools (beyond core sales CRM functions), including marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot Marketing Hub), analytics platforms (GA4), and any other marketing-specific software (Google Tag Manager). Continuously assess industry trends and new technologies to improve team efficiency and drive growth
AI Integration and Automation Enhancement: Alongside subject matter experts within the team, identify, evaluate, and integrate AI-powered tools and features into the marketing tech stack to enhance automation, personalisation, and efficiency. You will work with vendors and internal teams to implement and scale AI solutions effectively
Process Design and Automation: Design, implement, and optimise scalable marketing processes and workflows. This will include supporting the team in developing A/B testing infrastructure and methodologies
Reporting Infrastructure and Analytics Support: Work in close partnership with our analyst community to ensure the underlying technical infrastructure supports robust and accurate reporting. This includes proper implementation of tracking tags, API integrations for data transfer, and troubleshooting any technical discrepancies that impact analytical insights
Cross-functional Alignment and Liaison: Act as the technical liaison between Marketing, Sales (specifically the CRM team), and Sales Enablement to ensure marketing initiatives align with broader business goals and that a seamless buyer journey is maintained from marketing touchpoints through to sales handoff. Detailed funnel management on how we can improve and drive our GTM function
Compliance and Security: Oversee data privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR) specifically for marketing data collection, storage, and usage, ensuring all marketing technology adheres to regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Marketing Operations role, ideally in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Deep expertise in marketing automation platforms (HubSpot Marketing Hub and Make preferred) and CRM systems
Strong understanding of marketing analytics and reporting needs, with experience in data integration and governance
Demonstrated understanding of AI/ML concepts in marketing, with experience in evaluating or implementing AI-powered marketing tools (e.g., predictive analytics, personalisation engines)
Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
A strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot system issues and manage integrations
Understanding of sales processes and the marketing-to-sales lead lifecycle
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
