Job Description:

BAE Systems' Electronic Systems sector is seeking a Technical Intern to join its PGSS business area for a 10 week internship over the summer of 2026. This individual will be focused on Manufacturing & Process Engineering, and will be embedded with a team aligned to that discipline.

Requirements:

  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (must have completed either Sophomore or Junior year)
  • Enrolled in or have taken Mechanical Engineering classes, Electrical Engineering Classes, or Industrial Engineering classes
  • Data Analytics experience / exposure (database design, working with databases)
  • MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)

Nice to have:

  • Previous internship experience in a technical operations setting (manufacturing, industrial, process engineering)
  • Continuous improvement projects at school or work setting
