We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer who understands how systems work end-to-end. You will test both UI and backend functionality, with a strong focus on API testing. If you enjoy digging into how things work, finding hidden issues, and collaborating with developers to improve product quality, this role is for you.
Job Responsibility:
Analyse requirements and create clear test cases and scenarios
Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing
Validate UI behaviour, usability, and browser compatibility
Use browser dev tools (network, console, performance) to investigate issues
Test APIs using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or Swagger
Build and maintain structured API test suites with workflows and chained requests
Use environments, variables, and reusable test data
Run and automate API tests using Newman (CLI) and generate reports
Investigate issues using logs, network traffic, and API responses
Report bugs with clear steps, expected vs. actual results, and severity
Collaborate with developers to confirm and validate fixes
Participate in grooming, sprint planning, and release activities
Contribute to QA documentation, strategy, and continuous improvements
Support automation engineers with scenarios and test data
Requirements:
4+ years in manual and technical QA
Strong understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, and client-server communication
Advanced experience with Postman/Insomnia (variables, scripts, workflows)
Ability to automate API test suites using Newman or similar
Strong UI testing skills and proficiency with browser dev tools
Ability to run SQL queries for backend validation
Excellent communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail
Nice to have:
Experience with automation frameworks (JS/TS, Python)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git
Experience with performance or load testing tools
Familiarity with microservices
Experience with Playwright, Cron, or Git workflows
