Manual Mobile QA Engineer interested in dating domain. Contract length: 3 months full-time with potential extension. At FEELD, they are creating a world where everyone is more intimately connected to each other and themselves. They are building an inclusive, human-centered product and are looking for a Manual QA to join their remote team and their mission to elevate the human experience of sexuality and relationships. As a Manual QA at FEELD, you will ensure their mobile applications meet the highest quality standards. Your primary focus will be on enhancing our manual QA processes, particularly for feature-specific tasks and writing manual test cases. You will be critical in release management, ensuring that each sprint's output is rigorously tested.
Job Responsibility:
Refresh and update our regression and feature-specific tickets, ensuring they accurately reflect our current application state
Develop and execute manual test cases, focusing on expanding our regression pack in BrowserStack
Triage and prioritize issues in Jira, ensuring timely resolution
Work closely with engineers to understand new features and create corresponding test plans
Monitor key platform vitals in Sentry, proactively identifying potential issues
Foster a quality-first approach and a sense of ownership within the Product Engineering team
Define critical smoke tests and gradually expand test coverage
Collaborate with 3rd party automation team to align manual and automated testing efforts
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in mobile-focused QA, with a track record of enhancing test processes
Deep knowledge of iOS and Android platforms, including intricacies like deep links, notifications, and local storage
Proficient in using BrowserStack for cross-device testing, test case management and visibility
Strong skills in defining and managing comprehensive regression packs
Familiar with error-tracking tools like Sentry and similar analytics tools
Experience with Jira for issue tracking and sprint management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive ownership and collaboration
English level is Upper-intermediate
Nice to have:
Familiar with tools like Appium, Jest, Charles, Proxyman, and Postman
Familiar with AWS services (DynamoDB, CloudWatch, Lambda)
Ability to extract insights from stack traces and error logs
Exposure to and understanding of non-functional testing
