Analyzes transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and economical delivery of the organization's products. Reviews proposals and makes recommendations for modifications in rates and transportation regulations. Understands, communicates and ensures group’s alignment with Transportation strategy, corporate goals, and business objectives
Aligns the Region’s plan with direction of Transportation Operations organization to achieve goals and objectives, in conjunction with accountability for leading group to achieve these results
Holds the group and the individuals within the group accountable for achieving results
Uses sound business disciplines to generate maximum revenue and profits while operating in an efficient manner, meets the safety and performance standards and goals set forth by the company, customers, and regulating authorities
Responsible for spend effectiveness and profitability in region
Conducts Driver/Field Audits on a regular basis
Participates in Final ride-along with new driver prior to initial individual run
Conducts interviews and road tests with potential new drivers
Requirements:
4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Four (4) or more years Experience in a related field (Required)
