Are you ready to drive strategic impact at the core of our business? Ads and Business Messaging (ABM) connects millions of businesses with billions of people through cutting-edge ad products and communication tools. ABM is developing software and platforms that power global commerce, serving a vast ecosystem of users and developers worldwide. Our team is growing, and we are seeking an experienced TPM Manager to work strategically at the cross section between ABM Product Groups and machine Infrastructure to deliver best-in-class, high-impact products and technical solutions. Our mission is to create robust, scalable software and platforms that maximize profitability through efficiency, seamless integration of core technologies, and strategic risk management. As a TPM Manager, you will lead and grow a team of Technical Program Managers to drive highly cross-functional projects that accelerate efficiency processes, policies, and tooling. This includes collaborating with software engineers, product managers, data scientists, and business leaders—integrating their efforts into cohesive programs and driving them forward. You’ll play a pivotal role in defining the long-term technical strategy for your area, with a focus on maximizing our ROI through strategic Infra efficiency investments.

  • Lead efforts to create transparency, predictability, and accountability in all areas of program execution, particularly those related to cost and efficiency
  • Communicate with clarity and precision to ensure alignment across technical and business teams, including executive leadership
  • Drive technical contributions within the team, coordinating and contributing to engineering deliverables including architectural diagrams, specifications, and launch criteria
  • Collaborate effectively, build relationships, and influence team members and cross-functional leaders to set and achieve product and financial objectives
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and data leadership to shape and execute the long-term strategy for the ABM organization, with a focus on efficiency and risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with partner teams and leadership to ensure what we build strikes the right balance between cost, risk, and benefit, while maximizing profitability and focusing on the highest priority business and customer needs

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in the software industry or in technical product/program management

  • Communication and partnership skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a cross-functional team, particularly across multiple product groups
  • Experience with ambiguity and change, and bringing clarity to the team
  • Experience delivering high-scale software programs or products from inception to delivery, in the ads or business platform domain
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams to deliver highly ambiguous and complex products and programs
  • Proven expertise to operate effectively on own initiative across multiple teams, demonstrate systems and product thinking, and provide thought leadership
  • Demonstrated experience in making technical and product trade-offs, balancing business needs, technical constraints, and cost implications
