As Talent Acquisition Manager, Creative, you’ll be helping us build and lead the future of our agency through effective talent acquisition. You are dynamic and flexible, as you will need to create a balance between the social and technical components of your role. You are strategic, as well as executional, and understand that this role is equal parts project management, people management, relationship building, and actively recruiting.
Job Responsibility:
Acts as a strategic member of the DEPT® team, representing recruitment and P&C to ensure alignment with organizational goals and the sustainability of its recruitment and onboarding programs
Develop a deep understanding of our organization’s (Americas teams) skills, goals, and interests to help identify gaps and opportunities for growth
Work with stakeholders and People & Culture in defining the critical hiring needs to attract a diverse set of candidates for their team(s)
Recommend and drive improvements to ensure the team is at the cutting edge of your domain expertise (Creative)
Manage multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment and remain organized and strategic under tight deadlines
Own all aspects of the recruiting process, including sourcing talent, advising hiring managers, job posting, screening calls, and offer negotiation
Act as a hands-on manager who unblocks others by giving sound advice or building processes/procedures to provide solutions
You provide advice and build processes/procedures to free up your team’s bandwidth to excel in their daily tasks
Proactively identifies opportunities to facilitate cross-team work
Sets the direction for the Creative TA team and sells that vision
Establish trust and a perception of consistently bringing expertise and an educated, business-focused point of view to the table
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in Creative/Design recruiting in an agency or start-up environment
Impressive candidate engagement approach with the ability to activate passive candidates
Understand and execute against shifts in the marketplace that present recruiting opportunities in an agency setting
Expert industry knowledge in the Creative recruiting space with ability to understand relevant skills, target companies, open source communities, etc.
Strong project management skills and ability to move ideas through to deliverables
Can navigate ambiguity when priorities change by remaining focused, productive, and seeking guidance on how to respond
Able to rally people around a shared goal or project plan - great program and process leader who thinks holistically about the talent lifecycle and the business goals
Energized by working with others, collaborating on ideas, collecting insight and input from others, and delivering as a team
Able to identify challenges in team dynamics and propose or drive solutions
Strong understanding of each team member’s skills, development opportunities, and communication styles to ensure they understand their purpose of work, have clear goals, domain knowledge and understanding of SOP’s
Possesses a strong professional "brand" within the team that elevates one's ability to create value
Consistently ensures that work proposed / being done is maximizing the recruiting process and/or candidate experience
