Job Description:

The Manager-Restaurant (All Day Dining) at The Westin Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok will play a significant role in maximizing financial performance and guest satisfaction while maintaining high operational standards. Responsibilities include supervising daily restaurant operations, assisting with menu planning, ensuring compliance with various food and beverage standards, and delivering guest experiences that exceed expectations.

Job Responsibility:

Understands financial opportunities by surveying restaurant demand
partners with key individuals in the local community to assess opportunities
identifies and analyzes competitors
supervises daily restaurant operations
assists with menu planning
maintains sanitation standards
assists servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods
oversees the restaurant marketing plan
monitors social media activity
supports on-site/off-site public relations opportunities
conducts daily 'taste panels' to educate, drive sales and create sales goals
ensures compliance with food and beverage policies and sanitation standards
monitors financial aspects of the department
actively participates in the hiring process
manages employee performance
ensures excellent service from point of entry to departure

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
