Job Description:

This role will play a key part in transforming the corporate finance and accounting function, driving process improvements, and implementing scalable systems. You’ll support the firm’s Management Company and collaborate closely across teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations including general ledger, accounts payable, financial reporting, and FP&A (budgeting, forecasting, P&L management)
  • Assist with global consolidated budgeting, forecasting updates, and variance analysis
  • Manage expense allocations across entities and help automate allocation processes
  • Lead the selection and implementation of new Accounting and FP&A systems
  • enhance efficiency on AP/AR processes (e.g., Bill.com)
  • Partner cross-functionally with a commercial mindset—balancing budgets, priorities, and business needs

Requirements:

  • 5–10+ years of accounting experience, ideally within venture capital, private equity, or alternative investments
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, full-cycle accounting, and management reporting
  • Proven experience improving systems, streamlining operations, and managing outsourced functions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • ability to “manage up” and work effectively with senior stakeholders
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • Familiarity with fund finance or management company accounting is a major plus
