Job Description:

AK Pizza Crust is now accepting applications for experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics. These are full time, year round positions with a growing, successful company. Join one of the nation's foremost manufactures of pizza crust and pizza dough products-right here in NE Wisconsin. Training is provided, but some professional mechanical experience and/or technical education is required.

Job Responsibility:

Preventive maintenance on production equipment including conveyors, ovens, and freezers
Troubleshooting and repairing motors, conveyors, belts, pneumatic systems and more
Utilizing diagrams, sketches, manuals, manufacturer's instructions and engineering specs
Removing defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools
Examining form and texture of parts for wear
Maintaining equipment, parts, and supply inventories
Compliance with food industry GMP's, Quality Assurance and Safe Practices
Accurate documentation and record keeping
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment

Requirements:

At least 1 year of technical education or equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical fields
Prior LOTO training and forklift certification desired
Must pass pre-employment drug test
Excellent attendance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to stand and walk 8+ hours per day
Ability to work at heights (ladders, lifts)
Ability to tolerate hot / cold temperatures
Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive hand motion for 8+ hour shift
Ability to lift 50 pounds +/-
Some overhead reaching, lifting
Some use of ladders, stairs and step stools possible
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills required
Computer skills: all employees must be able to punch in and out on a computer interface
