Job Description:

Parkingeye is an advanced provider of a wide range of parking solutions to support businesses whilst working ethically with our motorists. We offer smart, flexible, and integrated carpark management solutions to help increase parking revenue, reduce car park abuse and improve customer satisfaction. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to undertake reactive maintenance and support company operations by being responsible for onsite technical maintenance of ANPR technology, servers, routers. The role involves reactive maintenance and we have over 2,500 sites nationwide, you must be prepared to travel and work away throughout the week as the business requires and will include an overnight premium.

Job Responsibility:

Undertake reactive maintenance
Responsible for onsite technical maintenance of ANPR technology, servers, routers
Configuration, testing and maintaining LAN equipment and services, including switches, routers, firewalls & VPN
Problem solving, problem detection and repairing system faults
Promote a strong behavioural based safety culture
Mentor, train and support other engineers
Configuration, deployment and maintenance of Microsoft windows and server
Liaising with clients/customers and other on-site trades regarding our works
Ensure Quality and Health and Safety standards are maintained

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a comparable role
Good knowledge of ANPR or CCTV systems, Servers, Wireless kit, and Routers
Valid, clean driving licence and ability to drive a company van
Proven experience in a support role that entails multiple technologies
Ability to travel/stay away overnight as required
Ability to cover 1 working weekend per month (1 Saturday, 1 Sunday)
Strong troubleshooting abilities across a wide range of hardware/software solutions
A knowledge and understanding of health & safety regulations
Understanding of networking, including installation aspects along with configuration and test elements
Installation, set up, configuration and repair of Servers
Installation, set up, configuration and repair of Routers (ADSL & 4G)
Test, repair and configuration of Wireless equipment
TCP/IP configuration
Cat 5/6 data cabling
Fault finding and repair of electromechanical equipment associated with various Pay and Display terminals
Strong aptitude for learning new technologies
High attention to detail, ‘right first time’ mentality and ability to produce detailed technical notes

Nice to have:

CSCS Card is preferential but not mandatory
ECS Gold Card is preferential but not mandatory
IPAF (3a and 3b) is preferential but not mandatory
