Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with daily maintenance tasks, such as service requests and property make-ready
  • Respond to maintenance related issues in a timely manner
  • Perform various maintenance functions including repairs to the following: electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance as dictated by state guidelines
  • Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair
  • Responsible for work order systems accuracy by verifying all orders are completed in a timely manner to company standards and the tenant’s satisfaction
  • Ensure maintenance requests are handled as quickly, efficiently and effectively as possible and always completed within 24 hours. Inform Property Manager and resident if work delayed due to needed parts
  • Promptly communicate with the property manager concerning all maintenance issues at the property

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • At least five years of experience in the property management industry or directly related field
  • General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, general maintenance
