Job Description:

Position: Mainframe Production Support Module Lead. Responsible for Production support, bug fixing and deliver assigned tasks as per predefined timelines and quality standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for Production support, bug fixing and deliver assigned tasks as per predefined timelines and quality standards
  • Monitor and support the batch
  • Work on the resolution of assigned batch tickets
  • Analysis and reporting of possible batch incidents
  • Handle ad-hoc requests for Service status or one-time information retrieval/reports
  • Participate in implementation activities

Requirements:

  • B.E./B.Tech.
  • 4-6 Years of experience
  • Must have working knowledge on: COBOL, JCL, Job spool, File and Abend handling
  • Ability to multi-tasking and proactive learning
  • Should be willing to work in 24 * 7 rotational Europe/India shift
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Nice to have:

  • Awareness of planner applications or job schedulers like control-M
  • Awareness of mainframe abends
  • Awareness of DB2 database
  • Awareness of Incident/Problem management tools (Jira, Service now, Confluence or any other tool etc.)
