Mainframe Application Support Module Lead position at Sopra Steria, a major Tech player in Europe. The role involves Mainframe application support, enhancement projects, and requires working in hybrid mode with UK shift timings.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for coding, unit testing, application development/support, bug fixing and deliver tasks assigned as per predefined timelines and quality standards
  • Work on change requests from business

Requirements:

  • Total Experience Expected: 04-06 years
  • Technology: Mainframe (Cobol, JCL, IMS DB, VSAM)
  • Mainframe Technical Enhancement experience
  • BAU Operation experience (Major incident management, Troubleshooting skills)/Production support experience
  • Familiar in ITIL framework (Incident, problem, change management)
  • Database skills: IMS DB
  • Should be willing to work in shifts, especially CE and UK shifts
  • Should be flexible to learn new skills

Nice to have:

  • Prefer people who has experience in Enhancement project (work on code changes, testing and analysis without dependencies)
  • Preferable: Mainframe Development/Enhancement and Analytical skills
