Job Description:

Responsible for outgoing and incoming mail as well as the disbursement of mail within the company. Prepare incoming mail for receipt and outgoing mail for dispatch. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30a – 3:00p

Job Responsibility:

  • Handling incoming mail, including sorting, opening, and preparing documents for processing
  • Barcoding, scanning, and reading documents for accurate classification and routing
  • Managing large volumes of return mail and correcting address issues
  • Processing work basket requests, including shareholder form and statement mailings
  • Responding to document requests from internal teams, including Operations
  • Metering and presorting outgoing mail and packages
  • Verifying, documenting, and bundling packages, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Receiving and inspecting packages, verifying contents against shipment records
  • Packing and preparing items for shipment according to specifications
  • Operating mailroom equipment including postage meters and presort machines
  • Recording all received and shipped items per established procedures
  • Ensuring packing documentation matches all distributed items
  • Supporting time-sensitive tasks and maintaining workflow accuracy
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Mail processing and distribution experience or experience in a similar role
  • Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds
