Job Description:

Join our Cincinnati Mail Processing Team today! Our team is responsible for receiving, sorting, and batching mail related to healthcare claims. You'll have the chance to work independently while supporting a variety of different operational activities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Receive and sort healthcare-related mail
  • Carry out established procedures in handling incoming mail, sorting it by form type, distributing it, and operating equipment associated with mail activities
  • Verify, document, and bundle according to procedure
  • Ensure items are batched appropriately for scanning into document scanner
  • Receive packages, verify items against the record of shipment, and inspect condition
  • Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications
  • Research and pull documents from record retention
  • Print and mail outgoing letters
  • Clean and operate scan equipment
  • Work within limited time requirements

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Mail processing experience
  • Capacity to lift or move up to 30 pounds
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Familiar with office environment of policies and procedures
  • Working knowledge of mail services processes
  • Strong data entry skills and experience using Microsoft Office software, the internet, postage meters, and other general office equipment
  • Ability to work timely, effectively, and independently

  • Operates the BlueCrest high speed electronic mail insertion equipment that includes Intelligent Mail Barcode (IMB) software
