Machine Labourer

• Clean, sand, and mask varied surfaces (like motors and chassis) to ensure they are ready for a high-quality paint finish
• Operate industrial sandblasters to remove rust, grease, old paint, and dirt from metal parts
• Manage air pressure and grit flow to effectively clean parts without damaging the metal underneath
• Refill abrasive materials in hoppers and monitor levels to keep the cleaning process running smoothly
• Manually lift and position heavy equipment onto racks or into blasting cabinets using safe lifting techniques
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning equipment and swapping out worn nozzles
• Keep the work area organized and immediately report any safety hazards to the supervisor
• Assist with general labor and other tasks as needed to help the manufacturing and logistics teams

• Minimum 1 year of experience in metal finishing or sandblasting
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs regularly
• Dedication to completing tasks safely and following all safety standards and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
