Job Description:

As an LTL Operations Support, you will be a key player in our highly effective and emerging Operations team. The LTL Operations Support is responsible for having a strong understanding of how the traffic flows in the US within our network and our partner carriers. The LTL Operations Support will be responsible for fostering a strong relationship with all client personnel who require day-to-day service from our company.

Job Responsibility:

  • Monitoring all shipments and partner carrier follow-up in the US
  • Appointment management while complementing our network
  • Managing customer inquiries and developing relationships
  • Ensure maximum equipment utilization
  • Supporting our Eastern LTL Coordinators with special projects, etc.

  • Support carrier sourcing activities, including RFPs, mini-bids, and contract renewals
  • Review carrier contracts, rate sheets, and accessorial structures to ensure compliance and cost control
  • Identify cost variances, overcharges, and savings opportunities
  • support corrective actions such as rebates or pricing adjustments
  • Assist with freight invoice review and audit processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to contracted rates
  • Partner with operations teams to support daily freight execution and service continuity
  • Analyze operational performance metrics such as on-time pickup/delivery, tender acceptance, dwell time, detention, and demurrage
