The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests, and team members in accordance with The Ritz-Carlton standards. Duties include patrolling property areas, assisting with emergency situations, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. In this role, you will also train, motivate, and guide employees while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Job Responsibility:
Patrol all areas of the property
secure rooms
assist guests with room access
Conduct emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audit
Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems
Authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas
Assist guests/employees during emergency situations
Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required
Gather information and complete reports
Maintain confidentiality of reports/documents, release information to authorized individuals
Defuse disturbances in accordance with company policies and procedures
Resolve safety hazard situations
Handle all interruptions and complaints
Escort unwelcome persons from the property
Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws
Assist management in training, motivating and coaching employees
serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process
Follow all company policies and procedures
report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
complete safety training and certifications
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Requirements:
A minimum experience of 2 years in Security/Loss Prevention and a minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role in Security/Loss Prevention in a luxury Forbes five-star hotel required
Certification in C.P.R. First Aid, and AED required
Knowledge and familiarity of MS-Shift, VingCard and Saflok software programs
Ability to satisfactorily communicate verbally and written in English with guests, management and employees to their understanding
Computer trained and the ability to compute mathematical calculations
Experience in working with a multicultural team
Ability to work under various working conditions and stress while maintaining a professional and calm personality
Superior investigative report writing experience
Understanding of safety procedures, protocols and various safety rules & laws in accordance with company brand standards
Great analytical skills and an eye for details
Experience with Emergency Responses and Procedures
