Job Description:

Loss Prevention Officer position at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne Miami. Responsible for property security, guest safety, emergency response, and maintaining the luxury service standards of The Ritz-Carlton. Part of Marriott International's portfolio of brands.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure the Gold Standards of The Ritz-Carlton are delivered graciously and thoughtfully every day
Learn and exemplify the Gold Standards, Employee Promise, Credo and Service Values
Protect company assets
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional

Requirements:

Patrol all areas of the property
assist guests with room access
monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system
conduct daily physical hazard inspections
respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required
assist guests/employees during emergency situations
defuse guest/employee disturbances
complete incident reports
resolve safety hazard situations
escort unwelcome persons from the property
report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts
conduct investigations and gather evidence
conduct interviews with relevant parties
stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
move at speed required to respond to work situations
move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight
move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
