Job Description:

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for maintaining safety and security by patrolling the property, monitoring alarms and safety systems, assisting guests, responding to emergencies, handling disturbances, and completing incident reports, among other tasks. The role requires compliance with company policies and ensuring a professional and positive work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Patrol all areas of the property
Assist guests with room access
Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system
Lock property entrances when required
Conduct daily physical hazard inspections
Respond to accidents and administer first aid/CPR
Assist guests/employees during emergency situations
Notify appropriate individuals in the event of incidents
Defuse disturbances
Call for outside assistance if necessary
Complete incident reports
Handle interruptions and complaints
Resolve safety hazard situations
Escort unwelcome persons from the property
Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts
Call for assistance using proper code responses
Complete daily activity reports
Maintain confidentiality
Conduct investigations and gather evidence
Conduct interviews with relevant parties
Follow company policies
Report accidents/injuries and unsafe conditions
Ensure clean and professional appearance
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge guests
Anticipate and address guests' needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Speak with clear and professional language
Prepare written documents accurately
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move, lift, and carry objects
Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Inspect tools and equipment
Move through confined or elevated spaces
Perform additional duties as requested

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
Compliance with additional licensing/registration requirements in some states
