Job Description:

Loss Prevention Officer position at JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa responsible for property security, guest safety, emergency response, and maintaining a secure environment while delivering thoughtful, heartfelt, forward-thinking service.

Job Responsibility:

Patrol property areas
monitor security systems
conduct hazard inspections
respond to emergencies
complete security documentation
investigate incidents
ensure guest safety
maintain property security

Requirements:

Patrol all areas of the property
assist guests with room access
monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system
conduct daily physical hazard inspections
respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required
assist guests/employees during emergency situations
notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents
defuse guest/employee disturbances
complete incident reports
handle interruptions and complaints
resolve safety hazard situations
escort unwelcome persons from the property
report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts
maintain confidentiality of Security/Loss Prevention documents
conduct investigations and gather evidence
conduct interviews
stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
move at speed required to respond to work situations
move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds
grasp, turn, manipulate objects
move through narrow spaces
reach overhead and below knees
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
