Job Description:

The Loss Prevention Associate at Marriott is responsible for conducting investigations, addressing guest complaints, handling security incidents, and ensuring the safety of the property. This role requires maintaining confidentiality, adhering to safety standards, and working collaboratively with team members.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct investigations and gather evidence
assist with and notify stakeholders in case of incidents
complete incident reports
handle guest complaints and disturbances
escort unwelcome persons from the property
ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures
monitor property for security hazards
respond to accidents and emergencies.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
ability to conduct investigations and gather evidence
ability to conduct interviews with relevant parties
ability to assist with and notify relevant authorities in case of incidents
ability to prepare and review accurate written documents
ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to quality standards
fitness to move and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds unaided and 75 pounds with assistance
ability to work in various physical environments (e.g., confined spaces, uneven surfaces, stairs)
ability to communicate using clear and professional language
ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
ability to operate computers and/or point of sale systems
ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.

Nice to have:

Experience in loss prevention or security
multilingual communication skills
familiarity with Marriott policies and procedures.
