Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Long-term Intern to join our Customer Training department based in Grand Prairie, TX. You will be responsible for evaluating business processes, identifying deficiencies/inefficiencies, and designing and implementing innovative business solutions/processes to optimize business operations within the Airbus Helicopters North America (AHNA) Customer Training Department.

Job Responsibility:

  • Customer Records Improvement Project: 70% - Assist in the evaluation and process improvement project for the collection and retention of customer information and training documentation
  • To the extent possible, reduce manual, time consuming tasks and increase reliability of the overall process/system
  • Assess and ensure the functionality and sustainability of overall design and end-to-end process based on planned hardware/software upgrades
  • Continuous Improvement: 20% - Evaluate other customer training business processes for deficiencies/inefficiencies
  • Recommend solutions to optimize business operations
  • Assist with execution of approved improvements
  • Develop/update internal user tool documentation accordingly to satisfy control requirements
  • Customer Service: 10% - Provide exceptional customer service to all customers who enter our facility
  • Assist administration team with customer service oriented tasks when asked

Requirements:

  • Must be currently local to DFW metro area
  • High School Diploma with GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Current college student majoring in business, education, and/or media program of study
  • Must be able to demonstrate customer service experience
  • Must be able to collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds
  • Must be able to resolve conflict and treat colleagues and customers in a professional manner at all times
  • Must be detail oriented, but also able to focus on the big picture
  • Must be able to speak/read/write in English
  • MS Office
  • Web-based application proficiency
  • Authorized to Work in the US
