Job Description:

Citi is looking for an intern to join the Corporate Banking team in Turkey. Corporate Bankers are relationship-focused finance professionals responsible for understanding the wide range of complex financial issues facing our clients around the world. As a Corporate Banker, you will drive the client dialogue on capital structure, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management and investment solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Assist bankers with the preparations of presentations, decks and other materials, including briefing memos for client meetings
Coordinate with the relevant teams for new client onboarding documentations for KYC purposes
Performs most basic, routine tasks/assignments
Works under direct supervision with detailed procedures
May service a very limited number of products/services
Applies knowledge of routine work area procedures
Completes standardized activities
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements:

Available to start from June 2025
Strong academics
Currently enrolled in a university that can provide an internship agreement
Fluent in English and Turkish
Solid analytical / quantitative skills, balance sheet knowledge, and high attention to details
Excellent communication / interpersonal skills and strong commitment
Genuine interest in the corporate finance business and curiosity to learn more
