Job Description:

ATR is looking for a Logistics Operations Manager to lead and optimize the global spare parts logistics activities within our Customers Support and Services. You will work with passionate colleagues to make a difference in a human size company.

Job Responsibility:

  • Management of the Logistics Services providers (LSPs)
  • Overseeing logistics standard operating procedures, purchase order creation and invoice approval
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize costs and efficiency
  • Provide daily support for all logistics operations including transportation and customs and warehouse related topics
  • Supporting internal stakeholders in organizing or managing the transportation of spare parts
  • Defining and deploying transport general instructions
  • Collaborating with internal customers to analyze process inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement
  • Providing logistics support for internal development projects and promoting green logistics initiatives
  • Deploying and managing logistics industrial tools, including TMS, IT interfaces and digital dashboards
  • Leading improvement project within customer service organization

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in transport operations management, preferably in the aviation/aerospace industry
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in logistics, including customs regulations, IATA guidelines, and environmental considerations
  • Experience in managing contracts with logistics service providers, ensuring adherence to SLAs and performance metrics
  • Familiarity with logistics management systems, including TMS, WMS, EDI way of working
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, SAP R3 WM/MM modules, SAP BW and Power Bi
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Fluent in English and French
