Job Description:

Join our team as a Band 5/6 Pharmacy Technician in a busy NHS hospital setting. This role offers full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm), though 3 or 4 days/week can be considered. The contract is for 3–6 months with the potential for extension depending on performance and service needs.

Job Responsibility:

perform comprehensive patient assessments
create and implement personalised care plans
deliver evidence-based treatments to optimise patient outcomes
collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
maintain accurate patient records
support dispensary operations and medicines management processes
apply Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) skills

Requirements:

current and valid GPhC registration
ACT accreditation
For Band 5: experience in dispensary and ACT duties
For Band 6: ACT accreditation plus medicines management experience in hospital settings
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
