Local Marketing Manager position for IKEA Giheung Store, responsible for marketing function within Giheung Market, focusing on understanding local market circumstances, creating marketing action plans, and strengthening IKEA's position in the local market.
Job Responsibility:
Take ownership for the knowledge and understanding of the local market circumstances
Convert data into insights and create a market area marketing action plan
Work with colleagues to ensure utilization of all external media, online and offline
Promote the IKEA offer to make it attractive, relevant and affordable
Grow our core customer base and convert more visitors into loyal customers
Promote IKEA as the good neighbor by working with local communities
Actively promote our social and environmental commitment
Increase the number of consumers visiting/revisiting our store
Understanding how different consumer groups use different media
Ensuring the strength of each local media channel is maximised
Analysing the results of our local communication activities
Support to create a store environment where the IKEA culture is strong
Maintain our store team well-informed about market composition
Requirements:
Experience of taking commercial decisions based on local market information
Experience of working in a customer-focused service industry
Interest in home furnishing as well as a curiosity about people's life at home
Interest in what is happening in the local market, and an ability to quickly develop knowledge of the local market and business conditions
Ability to set expectations and provide clear direction
Understand profit and loss and how to affect its result through their actions
Self-reliant and motivated with proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
Good analytical and numerical skills
Minimum 3 years of people management experience, preferably in the omni-channel retail industry
Nice to have:
