Job Description:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processing Assistant to support their lending operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, communicative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work directly with loan applicants, processors, and underwriters to ensure timely and compliant file processing from application through closing.

Job Responsibility:

Assist loan officers in collecting and reviewing applicant documentation
Process loan files in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Prepare, track, and update loan documentation and status in the system
Communicate with applicants to clarify information and obtain missing data
Collaborate with underwriters and processors to move loans efficiently through the pipeline
Ensure all files meet compliance and lending guidelines

Requirements:

Previous experience in loan processing, banking, or financial services preferred
Familiarity with loan origination systems (LOS) a plus
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Knowledge of current lending regulations and documentation requirements is a plus

Nice to have:
