A national AmLaw firm in Irvine is seeking a Litigation Secretary to support attorneys representing their clients in sophisticated civil disputes. Matters are detail-heavy, deadline-driven, and require exceptional organization and professionalism. Matters will span business litigation, insurance defense, employment, consumer protection, and real estate. This position offers direct attorney interaction and exposure to premium litigation work in a polished, client-facing environment.
Job Responsibility:
Draft, revise, and finalize litigation pleadings and discovery documents
Coordinate court filings and service of process (state court
federal court is a plus)
Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and trial schedules
Arrange depositions, mediations, and arbitrations
Maintain case files and ensure compliance with procedural requirements
Assemble trial binders, handling exhibits and TOAs/TOCs
Requirements:
4+ years of litigation secretary experience in California
Experience e-filing in state and/or federal court
Expertise in calendaring court deadlines
Strong proofreading and formatting skills
Trial prep and binder assembly experience
On-site availability in Newport Beach a minimum of 3 days per week
