Job Description:

The VP in Liquidity Strategy & Solutions will work within the Liquidity Management team to develop Citi’s liquidity strategy, improve balance sheet efficiencies, and support liability strategy development. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and strong collaboration across cross-functional global teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Developing Citi’s liquidity strategy, including target liability and liquid asset portfolio structures
  • Supporting commercial and client initiatives to improve Citi’s long-term returns and liquidity profile
  • Contributing to framework enhancements to enable greater balance sheet efficiencies at Citi
  • Supporting Liability Strategy development, particularly for the target liability stack
  • Collaborating effectively with global teams and business units

Requirements:

  • Commercial understanding of Citi’s businesses, and the importance of liquidity
  • Highly quantitative, data analysis skills, able to manage large and sometimes unstructured data sets
  • Knowledge and exposure to Liquidity Management, Asset-Liability Management and broader Treasury
  • Ability to understand complex ideas, unfazed by ambiguity, biased towards structure, attention to detail
  • Organized, self-motivated, curious and able to work on multiple projects with global teams in parallel
  • Able to communicate complex and technical concepts to different levels of seniority and backgrounds
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, in person and over video, able to build strong working relationships
  • Highly collaborative and able to partner with other teams to navigate roadblocks and resolve conflicts
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry
  • Bachelor’s degree and qualifications in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics), Finance, Economics, Business, or another related field
