Job Description:

Purpose of the position: Back Office EPC Sales Manager. Support the project at the EPC Back-Office location, interact with Valmet Sales office (at EPC main office where PO’s wil be placed), who provide contacts and strategy. Initiate the contacts, present Value Proposition, develop and build relationships, influence spec’s, AVL and compliance in favor of Valmet. Initiate and facilitate Customer Lunch & Learn / Seminar sessions ate EPC back office location. Licensor Management: Manage, “own”, lead, support and develop the selected Licensors internationally to establish Valmet’s accepted, approved, compliance and preferred position within the Licensor processes and specifications. Early Phase Project Sales Management: Manage, lead, support and develop the selected Early Phase Projects in order to obtain early information to establish a winning strategy as well as secure our Valmet position within the project from an Project AVL, specification compliance and contacts/relationship point of view.

Requirements:

  • Technical education, Bachelor degree as a minimum
  • Commercial experience / understanding / feeling, understand customer drivers, the related industry market, EPC business & Valmet related strategy
  • Valve knowledge is a pre
  • Good/Excellent English language skills, verbal & reading/writing
  • Open social attitude enabling multi cultural interactions externally with customers and internally within Valmet own organization
  • Leadership skills
  • Open minded and creative thinking
