Job Description:

Bayshore is looking for caring and knowledgeable Licensed Practical Nurses/Registered Practical Nurses to join its exceptional team and continue its tradition of more than 50 years of providing high quality care. You will have the chance to choose, according to your preferences, from a wide variety of replacements located throughout Quebec. Moving from the Outaouais to the Îles-de-la-Madeleine.

Job Responsibility:

  • Actively participate in the observation and collection of data on the condition of patients
  • Ensure follow-up with the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide direct patient care
  • Demonstrate excellent active listening skills as well as empathy towards the patients and their families

Requirements:

  • A diploma from a recognized school and valid license with the OIIAQ, in order to practice according to provincial regulations
  • 6 months of full-time experience as an LPN/RPN (also called auxiliary nurse or Nursing Assistant)
  • CPR training an asset. (may be completed at time of hire / prior to first assignment)
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French
  • Fluency in English an asset
  • Has a reliable means of transport (bus, train, etc.) OR a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for travel
  • No criminal record and be able to obtain a vulnerable sector check, if applicable
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as directed by Health Canada (e.g., two doses of a two-dose vaccine series or one dose of a single-dose vaccine series)
